Service Description

Slow down and relax in this class that combines Yin and Restorative Yoga practices. Yin oga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga. Poses (asanas) are held for two to five minutes to go beyond muscles and target the connective tissue, ligaments, and joints. In Restorative Yoga, props like bolsters, blankets and blocks are used to support the body in effortless poses that are held from five to ten minutes to calm the nervous system and release tension from the body and the mind. Various forms of guided meditation and mindfulness techniques are practiced while postures are being held. This class is a great way to balance your strength training and fitness routine.
